The invention relates to a construction method for backfilling soil in advance on a garage roof under the condition that a settlement post-cast strip does not meet a closed condition, which comprises the following steps of: calculating the lateral pressure of earthwork according to the backfilling height and the reserved width of the post-cast strip in a drawing, and selecting proper steel plates and channel steel; temporarily fixing steel supports on the constructed waterproof protection layers on the two sides of the post-cast strip; a gap between every two adjacent steel supports is filled with a flexible waterproof sealing material; after the steel supports are in place, a horizontal diagonal brace is installed between the two oppositely-arranged steel supports, and the two opposite ends of the horizontal diagonal brace are welded to the two oppositely-arranged steel supports correspondingly; performing earthwork layered backfilling; compared with a traditional plugging method, the construction efficiency is improved, and the construction time is shortened; meanwhile, the steel support is convenient to disassemble and assemble and can be reused.
