The manufacturing method of the variable-cross-section tower column section comprises the steps that at least one positioning structure is installed on the opposite side of each formwork of a creeping formwork system; the creeping formwork system comprises formworks and a creeping formwork system body, wherein the formworks are oppositely arranged at intervals. The formwork is moved to the two sides of the to-be-poured space based on the creeping formwork system, so that the positioning structure is located on the edge in the to-be-poured space; the creeping formwork systems are arranged on the two sides of the poured tower column section. And a plurality of horizontal stirrups with different heights are mounted on the positioning structure. Vertical main reinforcements are installed on the multiple stirrups, and at least part of the main reinforcements corresponding to the same positioning structure are bent relative to the vertical direction. And tower column sections are formed in the to-be-poured space between the formworks. According to the embodiment, the manufacturing precision of the tower column can be improved, and the durability and stability of the tower column are improved.
