The invention discloses a weather-resistant concrete admixture and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The method comprises the following steps: introducing an expanded microcapsule, firstly dissolving stearic acid and PVA in isopropanol and water, and then dispersing by using a high-speed shearing machine to obtain a mother solution; centrifugally drying the mother liquor to obtain paraffin and PVA microcapsules; finally, the microcapsules and the concrete admixture are placed in a planetary vacuum mixer to be mixed, and the weather-resistant concrete admixture is obtained. The microcapsules prepared from stearic acid and PVA are introduced into the concrete, so that the weather resistance of the concrete is remarkably improved, and the service life of the concrete is prolonged.
