The invention discloses a composite precipitant for laterite-nickel ore wet refining and a laterite-nickel ore wet refining method, the composite precipitant for laterite-nickel ore wet refining is a mixture composed of magnesium oxide and sodium hydroxide, and the mass fraction of the sodium hydroxide in the composite precipitant is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 99%. The wet extraction method of the laterite-nickel ore comprises the following steps: adding a composite precipitator into an acidic solution to be extracted directly or after size mixing, and stirring to enable the composite precipitator to fully react with the acidic solution to be extracted; concentrating the reacted mixed solution to obtain clear liquid and solid-containing slurry; and filtering and washing the solid-containing slurry to obtain a solid containing nickel hydroxide, cobalt hydroxide or nickel hydroxide-cobalt hydroxide, thereby realizing precipitation of nickel, cobalt or nickel cobalt. According to the composite precipitator and the laterite-nickel ore wet extraction method, the process is simple, the cost is low, the process is easy to control, the nickel hydroxide (and cobalt hydroxide) precipitate is easy to settle and filter, the production efficiency can be remarkably improved, and the energy consumption is reduced.
