The silicon carbide-magnesium aluminate spinel refractory product is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 50%-70% of silicon carbide with the particle size of 0.1-3mm, 10%-30% of magnesium aluminate spinel powder with the particle size of 0.045-1mm, 1%-10% of a binding agent, 1%-10% of aluminum oxide micro powder, 1%-10% of passivated metal aluminum powder, 0.1%-10% of an additive and a water reducing agent which accounts for 0.1%-1% of the total mass of the raw materials, the binding agent is light calcined magnesia powder; the binding agent is light calcined magnesia powder. The silicon carbide-magnesium aluminate spinel refractory product prepared by the invention is high in strength and good in slag corrosion resistance and permeability, and also has the advantages of convenience in construction, long construction time during pouring, low production energy consumption and the like.
