The coating system comprises a ceramic tile surface treating agent and water-based ceramic tile color-changing paint, the ceramic tile surface treating agent comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 90-96 parts of deionized water, 0.5-1.0 part of carboxymethyl cellulose, 0.1-0.3 part of a cleaning agent, 1-4 parts of an alcohol ether solvent, 0.4-0.8 part of a base material wetting agent, 0.3-0.4 part of organic acid and 1-2 parts of fluorine-containing salts. The ceramic tile renovating method adopts the coating system. The renovated coating is good in adhesive force, few in construction procedures, convenient to construct, less in generated construction waste, green and environmentally friendly.
