The invention discloses a supporting structure for a concrete formwork and a construction method. The supporting structure comprises an auxiliary supporting assembly, and the auxiliary supporting assembly comprises tie bars, a concrete wrapping layer and water stop screws; the middle section of the tie bar is wrapped by the concrete outer wrapping layer, the concrete outer wrapping layer is located between the front formwork and the rear formwork, and the concrete outer wrapping layer is clamped through approaching of the front formwork and the rear formwork, so that an interlayer with a preset thickness is formed between the front formwork and the rear formwork; the front ends of the tie bars are sunken inwards to form front limiting notches, the rear ends of the tie bars are sunken inwards to form rear limiting notches, and the front limiting notches and the rear limiting notches correspondingly connect the crossed joints of the vertical distribution bars and the horizontal distribution bars respectively; the tedious steps of using the inner support can be reduced, the construction progress is accelerated, the inner support is more firmly limited at the preset position, and the construction quality of concrete slabs, columns, beams and other structures is improved.
