Automatic electric venetian blind system
The invention relates to an automated electric venetian blind system. A venetian blind system can control (e.g., automatically) the amount of sunlight entering a window on a facade of a building to prevent direct sunlight from irradiating into the building while maximizing the amount of non-direct sunlight in the building. The venetian blind system may tilt one or more slats to a field of view tilt position in which the slats are horizontal, wherein the slats may block direct sunlight from irradiating into the building, and a privacy tilt position in which the slats are vertical. The drive unit may tilt the slat according to a clock having an event time determined from a predicted position of the sun such that the slat is tilted to the side-inclined tilt position when the predicted position of the sun indicates direct sunlight is incident on the facade. The facing direction of the facade may be configured using a mobile device.

The invention relates to an automated electric venetian blind system.
