The invention discloses a large factory building latticed column and a construction method thereof. The large factory building latticed column comprises an upper structure and a lower structure. The lower structure comprises C-shaped channel steel (1) and an H-shaped steel column (2) which are arranged in parallel, a group of first stiffening plates (3) which are fixed on a web plate of the C-shaped channel steel and a web plate of the H-shaped steel column and are oppositely arranged, and a group of gusset plates (4) which are horizontally fixed on the C-shaped channel steel and the H-shaped steel column, the upper structure comprises H-shaped steel (10) and a second stiffening plate (11), the second stiffening plate is welded in the middle of the H-shaped steel in a cross shape, and the gusset plates (4) are welded in the middle of the H-shaped steel. The upper structure and the lower structure are welded through a shoulder beam web; the construction method comprises the steps of manufacturing of the C-shaped channel steel units, manufacturing of the H-shaped steel column units and overall assembly of the latticed columns. According to the invention, the manufacturing of the steel latticed column is decomposed into a tailor-welding sequence adopted in a unit welding and construction method, so that enough space is provided for welding the latticed column, the welding deformation is effectively controlled, and meanwhile, the welding quality and the construction efficiency are improved.
