The invention discloses an assembly type steel structure engineering construction installation device and method.The device comprises a cross beam, a supporting column and a connecting beam, the cross beam comprises at least one horizontally-arranged steel structure, and the supporting column comprises at least two vertically-arranged steel structures; the cross beam is connected with the supporting columns through first connecting pieces and fixed connecting heads, and the two vertically-arranged steel structure supporting columns are connected through second connecting pieces. The first connecting pieces are installed at the preset positions of the two ends of the steel structure serving as the cross beam, and the fixed connectors are installed at the bottoms of the first connecting pieces; the two steel structures serving as the supporting columns are installed on the fixed connector, and the steel structure is connected with the other steel structure supporting column serving as the supporting column through the second connecting piece, so that rapid installation of the steel structures is achieved, the manufacturing and assembling requirements of the steel structures are lowered, and the construction efficiency is improved.
