According to the graphene surface modified aerogel heat insulation sheet and the preparation method thereof, the heat insulation sheet structurally comprises an aerogel layer located in the heat insulation sheet, the outer surface of the aerogel layer is coated with a graphene aerogel composite layer, and the outer side of the graphene aerogel composite layer is sealed and pressed with an insulating flame-retardant hot-pressing film in a vacuum mode; the aerogel layer is obtained by dipping a composite material serving as a framework into silica sol and carrying out gel treatment; according to the scheme, powder falling is prevented through vacuum hot-pressing coating of the outer-layer insulation flame-retardant film, heat resistance is good, and the defects that the heat insulation material is locally overheated and heat is concentrated can be effectively overcome through graphene treatment on the surface of the core material.
