Silicon carbide modified carbon/carbon composite material and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a silicon carbide modified carbon/carbon composite material and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of carbon-carbon composite thermal insulation materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing water glass, water-soluble carbohydrates and deionized water to prepare an aqueous solution; immersing the carbon fiber preform into an aqueous solution, adjusting the pH value to be acidic, then standing, and carrying out in-situ gelation on the aqueous solution to form a gel, so as to prepare a gel wrapping the carbon fiber preform; taking out the gel wrapping the carbon fiber preform, removing the gel on the surface, then carrying out carbonization treatment, and repeating for a plurality of times to prepare a silicon dioxide modified carbon/carbon composite material; and performing high-temperature heat treatment to obtain the silicon carbide modified carbon/carbon composite material. The adopted raw materials are low in price, silicon carbide and sugar-carbon matrix impregnation can be performed synchronously, highly uniform dispersion of silicon carbide is achieved, a large number of silicon carbide/carbon heterogeneous interfaces are formed in the carbon/carbon composite material, crack deflection is facilitated, the overall mechanical strength of the composite material is improved, phonons can be efficiently scattered, and the heat conductivity coefficient of the composite material is reduced; the heat insulation effect is improved.
本发明公开了一种碳化硅改性炭/炭复合材料及其制备方法,属于碳碳复合隔热材料技术领域。制备方法如下,将水玻璃、水溶性糖类物质和去离子水混合,制得水溶液;将碳纤维预制体浸入水溶液中,调整pH值至酸性,后静置,水溶液原位凝胶形成凝胶体,制得包裹碳纤维预制体的凝胶体;取出包裹碳纤维预制体的凝胶体,去除表面凝胶后进行碳化处理,重复若干次,制得二氧化硅改性炭/炭复合材料;进行高温热处理,制得碳化硅改性炭/炭复合材料。采用的原料价格低廉,能使碳化硅和糖碳基体的浸渍同步进行,实现了碳化硅的高度均匀分散,在炭/炭复合材料内部形成大量的碳化硅/碳异质界面,有利于偏转裂纹,提升复合材料整体力学强度,还能高效散射声子,降低复合材料的导热系数,提升其隔热效果。
