The cover plate assembly comprises a rotary cover plate, the rotary cover plate is installed on the vertical plate and located on the front side of the rat guard, and the rotary cover plate opens or closes the opening through rotation. And the rotary cover plate is arranged, so that when a water closing test needs to be carried out, the rotary cover plate covers the opening in the vertical plate, and water can be stored on the roof to carry out the water closing test. And after leakage detection is finished, the rotary cover plate is rotated to be opened, and water on the roof is discharged to finish the test. Mortar concrete does not need to be used for blocking the roof drain gully, meanwhile, the subsequent concrete breaking work is omitted, the risk that the waterproof roll is damaged is reduced, and the labor cost is reduced; and a sealing gasket is arranged on the rotary cover plate, so that after the rotary cover plate is closed, a gap between the rotary cover plate and the vertical plate is sealed, and a good waterproof effect is achieved.
