The invention relates to a roof HVAC unit. A roof unit (RTU) with a power discharge member is disclosed. The RTU includes a slide mechanism configured to support the power discharge member and to enable movement of the power discharge member between a stowed position and a withdrawn position. In addition, an RTU having the furnace assembly is disclosed. The RTU includes a slide mechanism configured to support the furnace assembly and to enable movement of the furnace assembly between a stowed position and a withdrawn position. In addition, an air guide baffle for an electric heater associated with an RTU is disclosed. The baffle is adapted to be removably configured between the electric heater and a fan associated with the RTU. The baffle directs airflow toward a limit switch and/or heating element associated with the electric heater while limiting recirculation of air toward the fan or within the RTU.
