The invention provides a swinging and moving type vertical splicing construction method for a side span beam section. The swinging and moving type vertical splicing construction method comprises the following steps that (1) a single-section beam section of a side span is hoisted from a transport ship located at a bridge site and swung and moved to the side span side of a tower column; (2) turning over a single beam section from a horizontal state to a vertical state, lowering and storing a beam; (3) the step (1) and the step (2) are repeated, the single beam sections are hoisted to the sliding support section by section, and after the tail beam section of the side span beam sections of the same span is turned to be in the vertical state from the horizontal state, vertical splicing installation is conducted; (4) the single-section beam section slides to the position under the beam section hoisted by the vertical hoisting station, the beam section is lowered to the beam section located on the sliding support to be in butt joint, the beam section which is in butt joint into a whole is lifted upwards, vertical splicing of the single-span beam section is completed, and the side-span beam section in the vertical state is adjusted to be in the horizontal state; (5) pulling one end of the side span beam section to the pier top of the auxiliary pier, and connecting the other end of the side span beam section through a sling; and (6) repeating the steps until the construction of the cable-free area girder section of the bridge is completed.
