The door and window is formed by connecting frame bodies (10A, 10C) in which panels (24, P2) are arranged side by side, and in the frame bodies (10A), pressing edges (25) supporting the edge parts of the outdoor surface of the panels (24) and inner peripheral side edge parts (25a, 23b) of vertical frames (23) are arranged at the following positions in the depth direction, namely, the pressing edges (25) and the inner peripheral side edge parts (25a, 23b) of the vertical frames (23) are arranged in the depth direction, and the pressing edges (25) and the inner peripheral side edge parts (25a, 23b) of the vertical frames (23) are arranged in the depth direction. The frame bodies (10A, 10C) are provided with clamping pieces (15i, 44i) which extend in the direction of the main view surfaces, and the clamping pieces (15i, 44i) are arranged on the adjacent longitudinal frames (15, 44) of the frame bodies (10A, 10C) at the same positions as the edge parts (15m), located on the inner peripheral side, of the main view surfaces, facing indoors, of the longitudinal frames (15), and are closer to the outer peripheral side than the edge parts (14f), located on the inner peripheral side, of the longitudinal frames (14), and the clamping pieces (15i, 44i) are arranged on the adjacent longitudinal frames (15, 44) of the frame bodies (10A, 10C). Adjacent vertical frames (15, 44) are engaged with each other in a state in which a gap is secured between the vertical frames (15) by causing engagement pieces (44i) provided on the vertical frames (44) to abut against the depth surfaces of the vertical frames (15), and are prevented from moving in the direction in which the vertical frames (15, 44) deviate from each other by screwing screw members (B1) in the depth direction. The purpose of the present invention is to suppress an increase in manufacturing cost and an increase in size.
