The invention provides a lifting folding type operation platform and a using method thereof. A sliding sleeve is connected to a fixed cylinder in a sleeving mode, and a jacking device in the fixed cylinder can jack the sliding sleeve; the lower end of the fixed cylinder is connected with the movable base, a plurality of supporting rods are evenly hinged to the periphery of the top of the sliding sleeve, the sliding sleeve is sleeved with a sliding unfolding ring, a plurality of inclined supporting rods are evenly arranged on the periphery of the sliding unfolding ring, one end of each inclined supporting rod is hinged to the sliding unfolding ring, and the other end of each inclined supporting rod is hinged to a rod body of the corresponding supporting rod. The jacking equipment is connected with the sliding unfolding ring; the bearing table is arranged above the supporting rods to form a working platform, and at least one telescopic ladder stand is further arranged below the bearing table. The folding lifting type platform can be used for climbing operation in an open space, can also be used for climbing operation in a narrow space, not only can be used for climbing operation related to a power station, but also can be used for climbing operation in other industries.
