The invention relates to a sanitary device comprising a sanitary element (2) to be suspended and fastened to a vertical wall (30), a first fastening device (14) for fastening the sanitary element (2) to two wall-mounted retaining bolts (24), the first fastening device (14) being detachably fastened to the sanitary element (2) and having two retaining bolt receptacles (18), the retaining bolts (24) are clamped into the retaining bolt accommodating parts (18) at the installation position, each retaining bolt accommodating part (18) is correspondingly provided with a threaded hole (19), a retaining screw (20) to be screwed relative to the corresponding retaining bolt (24) is screwed into the threaded hole, and in the fixed state of the first fixing device (14), the threaded holes (19) face the upper wall (4) of the sanitary ware (2) bearing the seat ring or the top cover part at the installation position. Two wall openings (5) are provided in the wall (4), and two second fastening devices (6) are provided for fastening the seat ring or top cover kit to the wall (4), each comprising a sleeve (7) which passes through the wall openings (5) in the installed position and is fastened on the wall side by means of fastening means, the sleeve has a through-hole (22) therethrough and a retaining pin (25) releasably connected to the sleeve (7) for receiving the race or top cover kit.
