The invention provides a snorkeling device and a swimming pool cleaning robot, and the snorkeling device comprises a driving assembly which comprises a motor and a transmission mechanism; the liquid storage assembly comprises a liquid storage cavity and a suction mechanism, at least part of the suction mechanism is inserted into the liquid outlet cavity and can move in the axial direction of the liquid storage cavity, the liquid storage assembly further comprises a bearing face, and the bearing face is located at the end, facing the driving assembly, of the liquid storage cavity; the projection of the axis of the motor on the vertical face of the bearing face is not parallel to the projection of the axis of the liquid storage cavity in the vertical direction on the vertical face of the bearing face, one end of the transmission mechanism is connected with an output shaft of the motor, and the end, away from the motor, of the transmission mechanism is connected with the end, away from the liquid storage cavity, of the suction mechanism. And the motor drives the suction mechanism to axially move relative to the liquid storage cavity through the transmission mechanism. The motor in the snorkeling device is transversely placed, the overall height is small, the snorkeling device can be vertically installed in the swimming pool cleaning robot, the stability of the swimming pool cleaning robot is improved, and rollover is not prone to occurring.
