The sealing material provided by the invention is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 100 parts of methyl vinyl silicone rubber, 28-42 parts of modified nano silicon dioxide, 2-4 parts of a structure control agent, 0.9-1.1 parts of a vulcanizing agent, 0.8-1.2 parts of an anti-aging agent, 0-6 parts of a foaming agent and 0-0.3 part of a foaming aid, the preparation method of the modified nano silicon dioxide comprises the following steps: mixing nano silicon dioxide, a silane coupling agent and a solvent, and refluxing to obtain the modified nano silicon dioxide. The tensile strength, the elongation at break, the temperature resistance and the aging resistance of the sealing material are improved under the combined action of the raw materials.
