The invention discloses a geocell strip and a preparation method and application thereof.The geocell strip is formed by compounding a geogrid and geotextile, and the geogrid is prepared through the following steps that a warp knitting machine is used for weaving composite fiber bundles into a geogrid body, the geogrid body is coated with a modified asphalt coating, drying is conducted, and the geocell strip is obtained. The geogrid is obtained; the composite fiber bundles are formed by secondarily twisting polyester filament yarns, carbon fibers and polyphenylene sulfide fibers; the modified asphalt coating is prepared from asphalt, SBS, natural rubber, polyphenylene sulfide, basalt fibers, antimony trioxide, polyvinylpyrrolidone and sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate. The polyester filaments, the carbon fibers and the polyphenylene sulfide fibers are compounded and woven into the geogrid body, the tensile strength, the wear resistance and the durability of the geogrid are enhanced, the asphalt coating is further improved, the temperature sensitivity of asphalt is improved, and the crack resistance, the chemical stability, the oil resistance, the mechanical strength and the wear resistance are improved.
