The invention discloses a prefabricated staircase gap plugging device and a construction method thereof.The prefabricated staircase gap plugging device comprises a gap shielding panel, the lower end of an upward prefabricated staircase and the upper end of a downward prefabricated staircase are installed on a supporting beam of a staircase, and gaps are formed between the upward prefabricated staircase and the downward prefabricated staircase and between the upward prefabricated staircase and the downward prefabricated staircase and between the upward prefabricated staircase and the downward prefabricated staircase and the beam face of the supporting beam; the seam shielding panel is laid at the lower end of the ascending prefabricated stair and the upper end of the descending prefabricated stair so as to shield a seam opening of the seam; the sealing plate is used for shielding a port of the gap and is connected to one side of the gap shielding panel; and the bottom supporting plate is mounted on the sealing plate in a lifting manner, and the bottom supporting plate is supported at the beam bottom of the supporting beam. The problems that garbage easily enters gaps of an existing prefabricated staircase, and treatment wastes time and labor are solved.
