The invention relates to the technical field of road drainage construction, and provides a municipal road energy-saving drainage construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, tamping and flattening the surface of a roadbed; s2, a drainage ditch and a water collecting well are buried in the two sides of the roadbed, and the drainage ditch communicates with the water collecting well; s3, graded broken stones are laid on the surface of the roadbed to form a broken stone hardcore; s4, auxiliary drainage component installation, wherein a plurality of auxiliary drainage pipes are laid on the broken stone hardcore, and the two ends of the auxiliary drainage pipes communicate with drainage ditches in the two sides of the roadbed correspondingly; a plurality of water seepage holes are formed in the top of the wall of the auxiliary drainage pipe; and S5, water-permeable pavement structure construction: pouring water-permeable concrete on the broken stone hardcore and performing maintenance so as to form the water-permeable pavement structure. The road drainage system has the effect of improving the rainwater utilization rate of the road drainage system.
