The folding door comprises a first door plate, a second door plate, a connecting base, a guide sliding piece and a guide rail. The first door plate and the second door plate are both provided with gear pieces and are arranged on the two sides of the connecting base respectively, and the gear pieces of the first door plate and the gear pieces of the second door plate are meshed so that the first door plate and the second door plate can be linked at the same time. The first door plate and the second door plate simultaneously and respectively turn towards the outer side/inner side of the guide rail to drive the connecting seat to move away from the guide rail; the gear pieces meshed with the first door plate and the second door plate rotate simultaneously to assist the first door plate and the second door plate to turn towards the same side; the first door plate and the second door plate are provided with sliding guide parts which are arranged at the other ends, away from the gear parts, of the door plates, and the door plates are assisted by the sliding guide parts to move on the guide rails. The device has the advantages of simple structure, compact matching, reasonable design and the like; therefore, the device is a product with excellent technical and economical performance.
