The invention relates to a large-crotch plant overhead area steel structure supporting platform and a construction method, the large-crotch plant overhead area steel structure supporting platform comprises a plurality of stand columns vertically arranged on the ground; the number of the main beams is multiple, the multiple main beams are horizontally arranged and arranged in an array, the ends of the main beams are in lap joint with the floors on the two sides respectively, the lower ends of the main beams abut against the upper ends of the stand columns, and the joints of the main beams located on the same straight line are arranged on the same stand column; the secondary beams comprise a plurality of rods, and the multiple secondary beams are perpendicular to the main beam and are in lap joint with the upper portion of the main beam; and the number of the floor bearing plates is multiple, the multiple floor bearing plates are erected above the secondary beams, and the adjacent floor bearing plates abut against each other. The vertical columns are used for supporting the main beams, then the secondary beams and the floor bearing plates are used for erecting, then the steel pipe supporting system is erected on the floor bearing plates for formwork supporting, the vertical columns are used for lifting the lower end of the steel pipe supporting system, and therefore the overall height of the whole steel pipe supporting system is reduced, and erecting of the steel pipe supporting system is more convenient; and meanwhile, the safety is also improved.
