Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gerüstriegel (20) aus Metall mit einem aus einem Rundrohr bestehenden und einen Außendurchmesser (28) aufweisenden Rundrohr-Trägerprofil (21) aus Stahl und einem U-Verstärkungsprofil (22) aus Stahlblech. Das U-Verstärkungsprofil (22) hat ein Basis-Profil (49) und zwei parallele Profil-Schenkel (50.1, 50.2), die sich in einem Querabstand (52) zueinander von dem Basis-Profil (49) in die gleiche Richtung weg erstrecken. Jeder Profil-Schenkel (50.1, 50.2) hat wenigstens eine Durchbrechung (60.1, 60.2) zum Befestigen und/oder Sichern von Gerüstbauteilen an dem Gerüstriegel (20). Der Querabstand (52) der Profil-Schenkel (50.1, 50.2) ist kleiner als das 0,6-fache des Außendurchmessers (28) des Rundrohr-Trägerprofils (21).
A scaffold cross-bar of metal with a round-tube carrier profile of steel includes a round tube and has an outside diameter, and a U-shaped reinforcing profile of steel sheet. The U-shaped reinforcing profile has a base profile and two parallel profile legs which extend away from the base profile in the same direction at a transverse spacing from one another. Each profile leg has at least one opening for fastening and/or securing scaffold components on the scaffold cross-bar. The transverse spacing of the profile legs is smaller than 0.6 times the outside diameter of the round-tube carrier profile.
