The invention relates to a novel composite and the use thereof as an insulating material. The composite contains at least two layers (6, 7, 8, 9), wherein one layer comprises a carbon-based felt material and the connection between the at least two layers is established by at least one CFC-screw which has a thread that cuts into the felt material.
