Die Erfindung betrifft eine Antriebseinrichtung für eine Schlitzwandfräse, mit einem Hydraulikmotor, einem Getriebe, an das ausgangsseitig zumindest ein Fräsrad der Schlitzwandfräse anschließbar ist, sowie einer Antriebswelle, die den Hydraulikmotor mit dem Getriebe verbindet, wobei die Antriebswelle durch zumindest ein Antriebswellenlager gelagert ist, das zwischen dem Hydraulikmotor und dem Getriebe angeordnet ist, wobei das Antriebswellenlager einen Schmiermittelzulauf aufweist, der an einen Leckage-Ablauf des Hydraulikmotors und/oder den Hydraulikkreis zum Betreiben des Hydraulikmotors angeschlossen und zum Schmieren des Antriebswellenlagers mit Hydrauliköl ausgebildet ist.
