Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schließvorrichtung (1), insbesondere für ein bewegliches Fahrzeugelement (3) eines Fahrzeugs (4), umfassend zumindest eine Drehfalle (7), ein Schließelement (6) und einen zugeordneten Sperrmechanismus (Sm) mit zumindest einem Sperrelement (8) und einem bewegbaren Betätigungselement (9) zur schließenden Kopplung der Drehfalle (7) und des Schließelements (6), wobei das bewegbare Betätigungselement (9) eingerichtet ist, die Drehfalle (7) in eine über zumindest eine Raststellung (P2) hinausgehende Geschlossenstellung (P1) zu bewegen und in dieser Geschlossenstellung (P1) zu arretieren, wobei in der Geschlossenstellung (P1) die Drehfalle (7) und das Sperrelement (6) außer Rasteingriff (R) sind.
