A lavatory flush tank silent-operating fill device (1) has a silencer (6) extending along an axis (A) and through which a stream of water flows; a number of channels (31) are defined inside the silencer (6) by a bundle of substantially straight, parallel tubes (32) housed inside the silencer (6) and parallel to the axis (A), and into which the stream of water is divided; and the flow section of the channels (31) is such that flow of the water inside is substantially laminar.
