Fire protection door comprises a fire protection insert divided into several separate partial sections with different fire-preventing properties. Preferred Features: The partial sections are divided into several layers in the direction of the thickness of the insert. The fire protection insert comprises a fire protection agent which shows an endothermic chemical and/or physical reaction, especially phase conversion and/or water splitting, during a temperature rise. The fire protection agent is made from a hydroxide, preferably aluminum or magnesium hydroxide.
