The drive (1) has an electromotive drive unit and a scissor type-opening (5) provided for pivoting a wing (2) of a window. The drive unit and the scissor type-opening are connected to each other in a longitudinal extension and are provided as a structural unit with a cover. The scissor type-opening is swiveled out from a receiver of the cover for opening the wing. A mounting plate is provided for adjusting the drive unit and the scissor type-opening. A driving rod is provided for actuating the scissor type-opening between the drive unit and the scissor type-opening.
