The sun-blind has a four-sided solar sail (1) connected to a winding shaft (5) along a diagonal (2), in a torque-proof manner. The solar sail has edge-sided protective strips (10) at a minimal width corresponding to a distance of an edge (9) of windings of the solar sail wound on the winding shaft. A drawing unit engages with corners (7) of the solar sail, where the corners lie opposite to each other with respect to the winding shaft. The strips corresponding to one of the corners form a light-resistant mesh and are laterally arranged on the solar sail.
