The lock cylinder has locking pin for blocking cylinder core against rotational movement in radially outer blocking position and for releasing cylinder core for rotational movement in radially inner release position. The pin is displaced into release position when all tumbler discs (16) are in their unlatch position. Several intermediate plates (136) are arranged along cylinder axis in core. A respective intermediate plate is arranged between two mutually adjacent tumbler discs, where intermediate plates have predefined backlash (S) relative to core.
