The invention relates to a handle (1) for a motor vehicle, with a support (10) which is fastenable on the inside to a movable part (2) of the motor vehicle, an equalizing weight (32, 33) which is mounted movably on the support (10) and on which a grip element (4), which is actuable from the outside of the movable part (2), acts, a receptacle (35) which is mounted movably on the support (10) and to which a force transmission element (36) is fastenable, said force transmission element being able to be brought into operative connection with a lock (3) of the movable part (2), and a shaft (31) which connects the receptacle (35) to the equalizing weight (32, 33). According to the invention, the receptacle (35) together with the equalizing weight (32, 33) and the shaft (31) form a common monolithic functional component (30).
