Infrared reflective concrete product (10) comprises infrared reflective nanoparticles (18) having a non-visible size (smaller than 150 nm) included in a matrix (16) of the concrete, a covering layer (14) including a concrete covering layer made by mixing the nanoparticles in cement slurry and applying on a previously molded core layer, which provides volume, shape and stability, and a core layer (12) including a concrete core made by an ordinary cement, aggregate or water mixture, where the infrared reflective nanoparticles are included in the matrix of the concrete covering layer. An independent claim is also included for a cement mixture for preparing the concrete product, comprising the infrared reflective nanoparticles for preparing the concrete covering layer.
