The invention relates to a mounting arrangement for a temporary edge protection system comprising posts and edge protection members mountable at the posts. The arrangement includes: a panel holder (6) comprising an elongated post slider (40), movably arrangeable at a post to extend in parallel with the post, and two panel supports (47, 48), attached to the post slider at a distance from each other, each panel support comprising an adjustable clamping element (49, 50) and an adjustment element (51, 52) arranged to change the distance between the clamping element and the post slider.
