Snow plow
A snow plow (10) includes a control unit (81) for raising an auger housing (21) to a predetermined upper limit angle ( ² hu) when travel device (14) is reversing, and an acceleration sensor (83) for detecting acceleration ( ± h) produced in the auger housing (21). The control unit (81) determines an angle of inclination ( ¸ h) of the auger housing (21) on the basis of the acceleration ( ± h). When the travel device (14) starts moving forward after having temporarily moved in reverse, the control unit (81) sets an intermediate lowering target angle of inclination ( ¸ m), which is in the lowering path of the auger housing (21) from the upper limit angle ( ² hu) to a pre-reversing angle of inclination ( ¸ min), in accordance with the forward acceleration ( ± h); lowers the auger housing (21) at a given lowering speed (Sc) from the upper limit angle ( ² hu) to the intermediate lowering target angle of inclination ( ¸ m); and lowers the auger housing (21) at a gradually decreasing lowering speed (Sv) from the intermediate lowering target angle of inclination ( ¸ m) to the pre-reversing angle of inclination ( ¸ min).
