A pressure tank for drinking water (1) has a cylindrical mantle (2), a first end section (4), and a second end section (6). The cylindrical mantle (2) has a first cylinder end opening (8) which is located in a first end (10) of the mantle (2), and a second cylinder end opening (12) which is located in an opposite end (14) of the mantle (2). The first end section (4) is arranged to be detachably mounted on any one of the first or the second cylinder openings (8, 12), and the second end section (6) is arranged to be detachably mounted on any one of the second or the first cylinder openings (12, 8).
