An opening/closing member opening/closing apparatus includes: an operation handle (12) that is configured to have a sensor section (38, 46) and to be supported in a turning manner by a base member (10) disposed in an opening/closing member (16) of a vehicle (14); and a CPU (73) that performs first control in response to detection by the sensor section (38, 46) in a case where the operation handle (12) is positioned at a first position and that performs second control different from the first control in response to detection by the sensor section (38, 46) in a case where the operation handle (12) is positioned at a second position different from the first position.
