SCHLIESSZYLINDER - SCHLÜSSEL - SYSTEM
The invention relates to a lock cylinder and key system, comprising a lock cylinder with a cylinder core rotatably mounted therein, the cylinder core being provided with a locking bar. The invention is characterised by the interaction of a magnet in the key shank and a magnetic ball and the locking bar; when the key is inserted into the cylinder core the magnetic ball can be moved by the magnet in the key in a direction parallel to the cylinder core axis and along the locking bar, and the locking bar has at least one groove which during a defined axial movement of the magnetic ball receives at least part of the periphery of the magnetic ball, so that the spring-biased locking bar can move radially back behind the running plane of the cylinder core/lock cylinder housing.
