The coated metal plate pertaining to the present invention is a coated metal plate for exterior use, and has a metal plate and a top coating film disposed on the metal plate. The top coating film contains 0.01-15 vol% of porous particles as a gloss adjusting agent, and the coated metal plate satisfies the expressions below. In the expressions below, R is the number-average particle diameter (µm), D 97.5 is the diameter (µm) of 97.5% of the particles, Ru is the upper limit particle diameter (µm), and T is the film thickness (µm) of the top coating film in the number particle size distribution of the gloss adjusting agent. D 97.5 /T ¤ 0.7; Ru ¤ 1.2T; R¥ 1.0; 3 ¤ T ¤ 20.
