The present invention relates to a clothing care appliance with an appliance housing and a closed door used to seal an opening of the housing. The appliance housing delimits an appliance inner chamber and havs a housing opening. The clothing care appliance has an adapter and a door hinge used to fix the sealing door on the appliance housing. When the sealing door is opened, a gap between the adapter and the appliance housing is released. The clothing care appliance has a leading-out element for discharging liquid, wherein the leading-out element can be movably arranged on the adapter, wherein the leading-out element can be transferred from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the leading-out element is abutted against the adapter. In the second position, the leading-out element is positioned on the gap. The leading-out element is configured to be used to lead liquid out from the appliance inner chamber to an external region of the clothing care appliance through the housing opening.
