The present invention relates to a pushbutton (1) for unlocking a lock of a door, hood, covering or flap, in particular of an agricultural vehicle, for example of a tractor, or of a construction machine, comprising a) a pushbutton housing (2), b) an actuating button (3) which is mounted in the pushbutton housing (2) and has an unactuated and an actuated position, c) a locking mechanism for locking the actuating button (3) in its unactuated position, wherein the actuating button (3) can be moved in its unlocked state linearly along an actuating axis (10) in a pushbutton-actuating direction (74) from its unactuated position into its actuated position relative to the pushbutton housing (2), wherein the pushbutton (1) is designed in such a way that the actuating button (3) returns automatically from its actuated position into its unactuated position and is locked automatically in the process.
