BASE FRAME
The present invention relates to a base frame (1) for assembling a vertical tower by bottom feeding tower segments (2) and a method for the same. The base frame (1) has rectangular shape and a space (3) for the tower segments. The base frame (1) comprises a fixed bottom part (5), a moveable rectangular lifting frame (6) having a first opening (7), the lifting frame (6) comprising holding arrangements (8), a lifting arrangement (9) to move the lifting frame between a raised position and a lowered position, a second opening (10), at least one guide plate (11) fastened in the lifting frame (6) such that it is moved with the lifting frame (6), a fixed slot (12), for each guide plate, being arranged on the fixed bottom part (5) such that the at least one guide plate (11) slides in the slot (12) when the lifting frame (6) is moved.
