SHOVEL, AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT CONFIRMATION SYSTEM FOR WORKSITE
A technology that encourages workers to wear safety equipment is provided. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a shovel 100 includes a detecting part 304 configured to detect a person around the shovel. The detecting part 304 detects a worker W1 with a relatively high probability, workers W2 and W3 with a relatively lower probability than the worker W1, and a worker W4 with a relatively lower probability than the worker W2 and W3. The worker W1 wears both a helmet and clothing with a reflective material, each of the workers W2 and W3 wears one of the helmet and the clothing with the reflective material, and the worker W4 wears neither the helmet nor the clothing with the reflective material. According to another embodiment, a worksite safety management system 2000 includes a plurality of different types of sensors, and a detecting part 2110 configured to detect, based on outputs of the sensors, a worker at a worksite where a plurality of pieces of safety equipment are recommended or required to be worn, and identify a wearing state of each piece of safety equipment by the worker.
