    A furniture panel (1, 1') comprises a panel body (2, 2') with an aperture (20, 20'), into which an adapter (3, 3', 3'') and a furniture fitting (4) are inserted, wherein the adapter (3, 3', 3'') is enclosed on at least two sides by walls (22, 23, 24) of the aperture (20, 20') and has a mount in which the furniture fitting (4) is inserted and secured, wherein at least one positioning pin (35) is formed on the adapter (3, 3', 3'') and is fitted into an opening (25) in the panel body (2, 2'). This allows the furniture fitting (4) to be positioned in a precise manner on the furniture panel (1, 1').
