The present invention relates to a WC bowl (1) with a rim (2) closing the bowl opening and having a rear region, two side regions and one front region with a circumferential bearing surface (2), a supply for flushing water with a flushing opening (3) that opens into the interior space of the WC bowl and a discharge opening of a discharge pipe arranged in the base of the WC bowl. According to the invention, the flushing opening (3) is arranged in one of the side regions of the rim (2) in the inner side wall of the WC bowl (1) and is connected to the flushing water supply via a duct closed with respect to the interior space.
