The drive voltage circuitry is configured to generate and supply a drive voltage for switching between a first optical state and a second optical state.The switching circuitry is configured to selectively operate the switchable segments corresponding to a command signal and the switching circuitry is configured to control the supply of the drive voltage by the drive voltage circuitry.
