The invention relates to a device (100) for driving a double-leaf door comprising a first door leaf (102) and a second door leaf (104) for a vehicle, preferably a bus. A first throttle (116) is assigned to a first valve (106) and in a first valve position of the first valve (106) can be bypassed by fluid and in a second valve position of the first valve (106) can be passed through by fluid. A second throttle (118) is assigned to a second valve (108) and, in a first valve position of the second valve (108), can be bypassed by fluid and, in a second valve position of the second valve (108), can be traversed by fluid. When moving, preferably closing, the door leaves (102, 104), the closing speed of both door leaves (102, 104) can advantageously be adjusted independently of one another by means of the valves (106, 108) and throttles (116, 118).
